ROMPER

How is it that it’s already May?!  It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a blog post, but April was a crazyyyy month!  My dad moved to Arizona, I went to Utah for a girls trip with my best friend, we went to Coachella, then I threw Kell a surprise 30th birthday party.  On top of that, work at Bloguettes has been crazy too! INSANE.   I owe you guys a Coachella post, but while I still work on the Coachella photos + videos, I wanted to do a blog post on the creative funk I have been in.

Lately, I’ve been struggling feeling like I am not using my creativity to the fullest.  Before we had a team at Bloguettes, I used to do all of the Instagram photos, graphic design, everything + anything creative. I also used to have more time, so I was doing a lot of design work on my blog too.  Since I’m limited on time now being busy, I feel like I have just been taking photos for my blog as I go and at Bloguettes, I hardly do the creative work, I just oversee it + manage it, so I’ve been in a funk. Anyways, I’m trying to change that.

I’m trying to change it by putting more effort + creativity in my blog photos. Have fun with it. Do something different. Whether it’s through the clothes I wear, the location + setting of the shoot, or the topic of the blog post. I want to push my self a little bit more outside of my comfort zone.  My blog is my creative outlet and I want to challenge myself more rather than do something that’s easy and predictable.  With that said, expect the change 🙂

Thanks for following along! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! xx
